1977

İBA Kimya A.Ş. was established in Ankara, and production of insulation chemicals began.

1979

Furniture paint production began.

1980

Majority stake in VOLKAN Boya, a manufacturer of industrial paints, was acquired.

1984

Alkyd resin production facility became operational.

1995

Powder coating production facility became operational in Ankara 1st Organized Industrial Zone.

1998

Furniture paint, alkyd resin, and thinner production activities were transferred to İBAVET Boya ve Vernik Ltd. Şti.

1999

ISO 9001 Quality Management System certification was obtained.

2003

ATİCO powder coating production facility was established in Kayseri Free Zone for export-oriented production.

2004

İBA Kimya’s logo was renewed as part of the corporate identity initiatives.

2005

Penta powder coating facilities and brand became part of İBA Kimya.

2006

İBAVALRESA A.Ş. was established through a partnership with Spanish company Valresa.

2008

İBA Kimya and İBAVALRESA moved to their new facilities in Ankara 1st Organized Industrial Zone.

2010

İBACHEMOLAK Sro. was established through a partnership with Slovak company Chemolak.

2011

ISO 14001 Environmental Management System and OHSAS 18001 (ISO 45001) Occupational Health and Safety certifications were obtained. An Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system was implemented.

2014

İBA Özel Eğitim-Öğretim Hizmetleri A.Ş. was established, and TED Ege Koleji began operations.

2015

Powder coating production capacity was increased.

2017

ISO 27001 Information Security Management System certification was obtained.

2021

The R&D Center was certified by the Ministry of Industry.

The Ankara facility generated 1.27 MW of electricity through a solar power plant investment.

The second powder coating production facility became operational.

ISO 45001 Occupational Health and Safety certification was obtained.

2022

Corporate identity initiatives were completed, and the new logos were registered.

2023

Electricity generation capacity was increased to 2.44 MW through solar power plant investments at the second powder coating production facility.

2024

ISO 50001 Energy Management System certification was obtained.

2025

The R&D Center relocated to its new facility.
