IBASHIELD, is a range of primer powder coating solutions developed to help protect metal surfaces against corrosion and extend the service life of coated materials. Zinc Free primer powder coatings are particularly prominent within the product range. Thanks to their zinc-free formulation, they offer barrier-effect, corrosion-inhibiting, and more environmentally sustainable solutions for different corrosion protection requirements. Epoxy and epoxy-polyester-based Zinc Free products form a protective film on metal surfaces, helping to limit the penetration of external factors and delay the onset of corrosion. The IBASHIELD Zinc Free product range includes EE20, EE30, EE40, and FF30 series, offering solutions for different application and performance requirements. The portfolio also includes a Zinc Rich primer containing a high level of zinc and providing protection through a sacrificial protection mechanism.
IBASHIELD Zinc Free – EE20
An epoxy-based primer powder coating with barrier protection properties. It forms a protective film that isolates the metal surface from external factors and acts as a barrier against corrosion.
IBASHIELD Zinc Free – EE30 / EE40
Epoxy-based, corrosion-inhibiting primer powder coatings. They form a thin protective film on the metal surface, helping to delay the corrosion reaction and create a protective barrier effect.
IBASHIELD Zinc Free – FF30
An epoxy-polyester based, corrosion-inhibiting primer powder coating. It forms a protective layer on the metal surface, helping to prevent the progression of corrosion.
IBASHIELD Zinc Rich
An epoxy-based primer powder coating containing a high level of zinc and providing protection through a sacrificial mechanism. It protects the metal against corrosion through the preferential oxidation of zinc instead of the metal substrate.
IBASHIELD primer powder coatings can be used on various metal surfaces and underneath topcoat systems, provided that suitable surface preparation and application conditions are maintained.
