Powder Coating Providing a Homogeneous Metallic Effect
IBABOND
IBABOND, products are decorative powder coatings obtained by bonding metallic or mica pigments to powder coating particles through a special process at a specific temperature. This process prevents the pigments from separating from the powder coating particles during transportation and application. IBABOND powder coatings are available in epoxy, epoxy-polyester, and polyester formulations. Since the pigments are bonded to the powder coating particles, the use of recycled powder is easier, while a homogeneous metallic appearance is achieved.
IBABOND Coding
B+: Leaves fingerprints and is not resistant to moisture or abrasion. Application of a second coat of IBACLEAR is recommended. Example: PE54DT0000189GLX
X+: Resistant to moisture and light abrasion. Under normal conditions, a second coat of clear coat is not required. Note: If the application is subject to heavy abrasion, a second coat of IBACLEAR is recommended.
Q+: Resistant to moisture and abrasion. No second coat of clear coat is required. Due to its high chemical, moisture, and outdoor resistance, it is ideal for architectural applications.
